ICELEAK SHORT RECAP
Iceleak’s first single, ‘Danger’, was released on Disco Fries’ label Liftoff Recordings. Their follow up releases, ‘Don’t Leave Me’, and ‘Wavy’, were released on Tiësto’s label AFTR:HRS/Musical Freedom, and on Spinnin’ Records respectively. Later, Iceleak released ‘Something In The Water’, their first single with Ultra Music Records.
“This track is the first one which explores a bit more of us inside. The text is sharp and tells about fighting with yourself and what scares you. The meaning is deep, is a really beautiful text. This song wants people to reflect over their fears, we all have fears but we can always face them. The track sees Jack Hawitt singing and Grammy-Winning Victoria Horn as songwriter” – Iceleak
The easygoing and mellow vocals “Fighting Mirrors” features bring a fresh touch to the classic 4/4 house formula. With its light, bouncy melodies and simple, yet effective drum programming, this tune is a wonderful example of how house music can sound unique in 2019.
